A second generation Master Plumber and Mechanical Contractor, Kenny Hart has more than thirty  years of experience in the mechanical fields. He currently chairs the Building Practices and Trades Division of the Alpha College of Real Estate located in Chesapeake, Virginia. He served on the Technical Committee for the American Society of Home Inspectors for three years, including one year as the chairman. He has served on their Membership Committee and Standards Committee as well. Kenny is experienced in all areas of the home inspection profession. His writings and contributions to trade journals and newspapers and his presentations to home inspector and real estate organizations have earned him the respect of his peers. 

Kenny's presentation at the 2007 ASHI Inspection World was his fifth consecutive appearance at the annual event. He was a presenter at the NAHI national conference in Las Vegas in 2007 and for a third consecutive year he was a presenter at NACHI's annual event. Their 2007 convention was held in Toronto.

Kenny is a Retired Member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. He is a former member of the National Association of Home Inspectors. He is also State Certified as a home inspector in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is the immediate past President of the Virginia Association of Real Estate Inspectors. He is currently the Vice President of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors.

Kenny regularly serves on committees for the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association and the Virginia Penninsula Association of REALTORS®. Each month his column Building Practices and Trades is read by thousands in the Hampton Roads REALTOR® a magazine for members of the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association.
